Welcome to our special PASSOVER 5785 expanded issue.
The Festival of PESACH begins on Saturday night, April 12, and ends after Shabbat, April 19 (in Israel; outside of Israel: Sunday nightfall, April 20).
The seven articles are all about the holiday. They include one from the Zohar explaining according to Kabbalah why the Jews had to stay indoors that night (#3), one from Rabbi Yitzchak Luria on burning chametz, the "Holy Ari" of Tzefat (#4), and one from the Old City of Jerusalem kabbalist who passed away in the previous decade, Rabbi Avralam Brandwein, on — among several topics — the 4 cups of wine (#5).
The 123rd anniversary of the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe falls this Wednesday. Articles #7-8 present respectively two of his most famous teachings for the 7th/8th Pesach Festival days.
