he final four articles (#4-7) relate directly to the main theme of the weekly Torah reading, Balak.
The 3rd article is for the 6h and final chapter of the second cycle of Pirkei Avot, which many continue to study on Shabbat afternoons throughout the summer, until Rosh Hashana.
The 2nd (& 3rd) article is in honor of the the 6th Lubavitcher Rebbe, whose "Liberation Day" falls this week, on Tammuz 12-13 (Wednesday night - Friday),
while the 4th is in honor of the Ohr HaChayim, whose yahrzeit celebration on Tammuz 15 will begin on Saturday night.
The weekly story (last article) features the "Holy ARI," leader of the 16th century Safed Kabbalists.
The 17th of Tammuz is the dawn-to-nightfall fast day commemorating the breaching of the walls of Jerusalem, leading to the destruction of the Holy Temple on the 9th of Av, three weeks later. This year it falls on Tuesday, June 23. Stay tuned!
