A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
The Fast Day of the Tenth of Tevet, commemorating the siege of Jerusalem that led to the destruction of the Holy Temple — this year on Friday, Dec. 22 — is the traditional date for reciting the Kaddish prayer for those Jewish souls (including the Holocaust martyrs) for whom their date of death is unknown - see article #2.
The last 4 articles are for this week's Torah reading, Vayigash, about which article #4 also explains why it follows so closely after Chanukah. Ever wonder about what Twitter is really all about? See our lead article. |
