After the reading of Tetzaveh this week (articles #4-7), an important additional section about the mitzvah to remember the war with Amalek is also read (article #1-2) in a second scroll.
The story (#7) works well with the weekly Torah reading, within which is described the unique holy garments of the Jewish priests (Kohanim). Additionally, it is quite appropriate as a Purim story also — definitely worthwhile to save it for next week too.
This Tuesday, 7 Adar A, is the anniversary of the birth of Moses 3255 years ago, and of his passing on exactly the same date 120 years later.
