Sunday will be the 'yahrzeit-hilula' of Rabbi Yonatan Ben Uziel, the top student of the great sage Hillel. His burial site in Amuka Valley, outside of Tzefat, receives tens of thousands of visitors a year, especially those that heard it is a propitious place to pray to meet one's destined marriage partner — see our lead article
The 3rd article is for the 3rd chapter of the second cycle of 'Pirkei Avot', which many continue to study on Shabbat afternoons throughout the summer, until Rosh Hashana.
Articles 4-7 relate to the weekly Torah reading, 'Shelach;' - the first two from major classic Kabbalah texts.

A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
Dedication
In memory of Rabbi MORDECHAI-TZEMACH ELIYAHU, one of the leading sages in the state of Israel in the last 70 years, a major judge of Jewish law for the Sephardic communities, a former chief rabbi of Israel and --not so publicly known-- an accomplished Kabbalist, whose 8h yahrzeit is this Friday (25 Sivan / June 12). He is also the father of Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, whom we know personally from his 30+ years of service as chief Rabbi of Safed, and also from his active and enthusiastic participation in many ASCENT* outreach activities.
