A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
The first three articles are from three of the greatest classical Kabbalists in Jewish history.

This Shabbat is the yahrzeit-hilula of Rabbi Yonatan Ben Uziel, the top student of the great sage Hillel. In memory of Rabbi MORDECHAI-TZEMACH ELIYAHU, one of the leading sages in the state of Israel in the last sixty-five years, a major judge of Jewish law for the Sephardic communities, a former chief rabbi of Israel and --not so publicly known-- an accomplished Kabbalist, whose 5th yahrzeit is this Friday (25 Sivan / June 12). He is also the father of Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, whom we know personally from his nearly 30 years of service as chief Rabbi of Safed, and also from his active and enthusiastic participation in many ASCENT* outreach activities.
