Welcome to our special 7th-8th Days of PASSOVER issue.
The 7th day of Pesach, is also a full-fledged Torah holiday.
It celebrates the miracle of the Splitting of the Sea and our crossing on dry land.
The Eighth Day of Pesach is celebrated only outside of Israel. It's theme is the Final Redemption and Moshiach
as is explicitly discussed in the haftorah reading of the day.
Four articles are for the week between the first and last days of the festival and the 7th Day itself;
two are for the 8th day and its theme of redemption; and one for the seven weeks of Counting Omer.
The 116th anniversary of the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe was last week on Nissan 11;
two of his teachings for the 7th/8th Pesach Festival days are featured (articles #1 & 5).
