The first article, examining the reasons for differing arrangements of the daily prayers, presents
teachings of the Magid of Mezritch, whose yahrzeit is on the 19th of the Jewish month of Kislev

also the anniversary day of the first publication of Tanya (see article #2 to sample a chapter),
an important primer for Kabbalah and Chasidut

and also the date of the liberation from prison of its author a few years after (article #7). The 3rd article is also a teaching of Rabbi Shneur Zalman.

All three of the above events will be celebrated jointly on Yud-Tes Kislev this week (Wed. night-Thurs).

For the weekly reading we offer three deep mystical insights: from the Zohar and from the Holy Ari of Tzefat (articles 4-5) — both of which are (relatively) user-friendly! --
and from the Avricher Rebbe (#6), which is highly applicable to Chanukah as well.
