A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
"Emor" sounds a bit like "Omer" and indeed, this week's reading contains
the source verses for the mitzvah of Counting the Omer, which we are in the midst of now (see article #4).
The 2nd article, by the famed Ben Ish Hai of Bagdad, is for the third chapter of Pirkei Avot, which will study this Shabbat afternoon. We are often asked if there are "women kabbalists"; Answer: If not in Tzefat, then where? Check our lead article!
