A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
This Shabbat, in synagogue, we will hear:
(1) the weekly Torah Portion of Vayakhel (2) the weekly Torah Portion of Pekudei (3) the special supplementary reading of Para Aduma ("the Red Heifer") (4) the advance blessings for the New Moon of Nissan, and, finally (5) the rare blessing "Chazak!" for completing publicly one of the Five Books of Moses. The lead article is a beautiful perspective on Shabbat, also a theme in this week's reading, while the second article provides some important descriptions of Kabbalah, and its place within the total picture of Torah Judaism. Articles 3 - 4 are for the "double parsha," while articles 5 - 6 are for the special 'Para' reading. Last, an amazing story about the holy "Lion of Tzefat." |
