A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
Among the many important verses in this week's Torah Reading are the designation of special grains and fruits, and the instruction to bless G‑d after we have eaten — the only blessing specified in the entire Torah!
Most (#3 - 6) of the articles below deal with these two topics. Our first two articles, however, are about the not-so-well known holiday that falls this week, when single Jewish women used to dance and sing together in the fields. The 2nd is about the great Sage whose yahrtzeit is on that auspicious day. ATTENTION: Double Prayer Special at KabbalaOnline-Shop for Nachum Ish Gamzu's yahrtzeit. [Your prayer, along with a donation, must arrive by August 1, 2013.] |
