A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
"A busy week! Shabbat is both Tu B'Shvat (the first 6 articles) and ""Shabbat of Song"" (the last article). The 4th & 5th Tu b'Shvat articles are from our exclusive translation of ""Tuv HaAretz"" a major book of Kabbalah about the Land of Israel. [Here in Tzefat, at Ascent, we will be celebrating our 27th annual Kabbalistic Tu B'shvat Seder — see the lead article.] Also, Sunday night - Monday is Yud Shvat, the yahrzeit of both the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe (see seventh article) and Rabbi Shalom Sharabi (""Reshash""), the great Yemenite 18th century Kabbalist, whose ""Siddur/prayerbook with Kavannot/mystical intentions"" is still so influential today.
Dedication
In appreciation to the Leiter family of Tzefat, for their presentation of a new Sefer Torah to Ascent-of-Safed. May their generosity and devotedness hasten the redemption.
Please pray for the complete recovery of Chaya-Chana bat Rivka. Also recite Psalms 20 and 53 for her sake. |
