A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
This week we study the first of the eleven readings in the Book of Exodus. The first four provide nearly all the background needed to be a "wise son" — or a wise parent! — at the Passover Seder table. The lead article, from the holy Ari of Tzefat (Safed), our headquarters, sets the tone. The original Hebrew name, "Shmos", actually means "Names," so that is the topic of the second article. The third article delineates the vital role and personality of Miriam, the sister of Moses.
