I read one time that a certain Rabbi would ask a room full of students for questions. He would hear the question but not answer it.
After he had gathered five or six, seemingly unrelated questions, he would pause and then begin to answer all of them with one response.
Because ALL "branches" (questions) have their source in the same "trunk".
I guess it's sort of works in reverse, too, because I find in the last few months or year, no matter what I pick up, no matter what book or rabbi I spend some time with, it fills in a piece of my puzzle
And you my friend with about 3 words, inked Rabbis I'm currently study with, to books I'm reading, and to information I set aside YEARS ago.
Very, VERY amazing.

And also makes great sense about the couples because all Hebrew rwords go back to a two-letter root.
