If Hashem had to prepare our ancestors for receiving the Torah — and even the sin of the Golden Calf was part of His divine plan — it suggests that the existence of good is only meaningful in contrast to the presence of evil. So my question is: when Moshiach comes, and the world reaches a state where ‘the wolf will dwell with the lamb’ and all evil is transformed into holiness, will we still be able to appreciate good in the same way we do today?— if the ultimate purpose is for all “evil” to be transformed into good, why destroy Amalek? Why not elevate it?Could it be possible that an evil as deep as Hamas could convert their beliefs and perhaps unite Jews and Palestinians as brothers and sisters? Reply
