Come and see! What is written? "Happy are they who maintain justice". (Psalms 106:3) Happy are those who preserve the faith of G‑d [and thus are protected from clinging to the Other Side] because He is called 'Justice', and it is good for man to maintain justice and keep himself from turning to the Other Side. This is because G‑d is Justice, and all His ways are just. [If one does not guard his ways and happens to sin, G‑d will remove Himself from him and will punish him justly.]
"...and do righteousness at all times..." (106:3) Can a man possibly do righteous deeds at all times? This is a person who walks in the path of the Torah [tiferet] performs righteous deeds for those who need them, for whoever is charitable to the poor increases righteousness Above and Below.
Come and see [the secret], that when whoever is striving to perform righteousness does so, that righteousness rises and reaches that place of Jacob, the upper Chariot [the place of tiferet, and tiferet makes an upper Chariot for bina] and draws blessings on that place [of tiferet] from the source [keter and chochma, which are included in bina] of all springs [the 3 upper sefirot all are called springs which give flow to Below]. From that righteousness, he blesses the lower ones and all the Chariots and the supernal armies. All are blessed, and the lights are properly added. All are called "time" [for all the angels of the worlds of Beriya, Yetzira and Asiya which are the armies of malchut are called "time'; they change all times from judgment to mercy and make the aspect of 'time' do His Will] Therefore, it is written: "and do righteousness at all times" [as the angels draw down to the Shechinah called time].
Come and see that when the children of Israel were in the Holy Land, they drew blessings downward. When the children of Israel left the Holy Land and came under the dominion of another, blessings were withheld from the world.
Come and see how Jacob was under the Holy Government. After he left the land, he came under another dominion [of Other Side]. Before he came under another dominion, G‑d was revealed to him in a dream. He saw what he saw, and the holy angels walked with him until he sat upon the well. After he sat on the well, the water rose toward him. So it was with Moses because there his wife chanced to meet him. The secret of the well is that it only rises when it sees its union to be joined with him. [The Shechina is the well that joined with him at the place of tiferet, for he was the aspect of the husband of the Matronita, like Jacob and Moses.]
BeRahamim LeHayyim: Why did the Ari and Chida choose this passage? What are we to learn?
What we do below affects above. This we have noted several times.
What this Zohar is showing us is how our actions help to promote the
union between the Holy One Blessed be He—correlated with tiferet and
Zeir Anpin--and the Shechinah, Who is connected with malchut and
Nukva, the female partner of the Diminished Presence. And this union
then causes even a higher supernal union, which then draws abundance from the
Fountain of Blessings, the upper three supernal emanations.
So, in the wondrous explanation of blessings, The Path of Blessing,
Marcia Prager expounds, "A Fountain of Blessings Are You" for the words
Baruch Ata. What is that fountain? It is the result of combining
Holy deeds with pure intention that rise oh so high and then shower us
with plenty. May your next good deed fill you with light, light you can
share with all of us. Amen.
What does the above mean to YOU?! Why is this text being revealed to you NOW?!
