Sabbath I think the main problem of lighting the candles before sabbath is declared over by the community representative is that Judaism has always been a religion in which your community is part of your observance . While it is certainly possible to maintain the peace and beauty of the sabbath it is so muchmore when that peace ,tranquility ,holiness is observed by the community. Therefore it is not just an individual act by one who rushes to end the sabbath but certainly has an impact on others. Reply
