Welcome to our special PASSOVER-SEDER NIGHT issue.
The Passover Festival begins on Wednesday evening, April 1, with "the Seder," and four of our articles delve deeply into this beloved Jewish occasion, two from the Zohar (#3, 4) and two containing teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe (#2,3), (#5,6), in honor of the 124th anniversary of his birthday on Nissan 11 (2026: March 29). The first and last articles are also related.
Article #2 is a letter from Rebbe Kalonymus Kalman, the Piaseczno Rebbe, sent from the Warsaw Ghetto to his followers before Passover 5699 (1939).
From the 2nd night of Pesach (Thursday night) through the night before Shavuot we do the mitzvah of "Counting the Omer"
Next Week: our special LAST DAY(s) OF PASSOVER & COUNTING OMER issue.
