A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
Prophetic dreams are a major theme is this week's reading and next (six such dreams altogether!).
The first article dives deep into dreams. The 19th of (the Jewish month of) Kislev, this Monday night - Tuesday, is the anniversary day of the first publication of Tanya, an important primer for Kabbalah and Chasidut, as well as the celebration of the liberation of its author from prison a few years after on the same date. Article #2 connects and dissects these two events by presenting two apparently contradictory stories. The 4th article provides a Kabbalah-based explanation of one of the Seven Universal commandments for all human beings; the 5th, from the Zohar, examines free will and destiny, based on the life of Yosef; while the 3rd starts our featuring of Chanukah, which starts next Sunday night, and which will dominate next week's issue. |
