A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
A not-so-well known holiday that falls this Thursday night - Friday, when the single Jewish women used to dance and sing together in the fields (articles #1, 7)
Among the many important verses in this week's Torah Reading are the instruction to bless G‑d after we have eaten—the only blessing specified in the entire Torah! (articles #3: Zohar), while articles #4-5 discuss the spirituality involved in eating and drinking. The verses of the second paragraph of our most basic prayer - Shema Yisrael, which also contains the commandments of Mezuzah (see articles #2, 6). |
