A not-so-well known holiday that falls this Thursday night - Friday, when the single Jewish women used to dance and sing together in the fields (article #1, plus the story (#7) is about matchmaking and said to be helpful for single people looking for their soulmate!)

Among the many important verses in this week's Torah Reading are the instruction to bless G‑d after we have eaten — the only blessing specified in the entire Torah! (articles 2 -Zohar, 3 - Arizal) and the verses of the second paragraph of our most basic prayer, Shema Yisrael, which also contains the commandments of Mezuzah (see article #4).

The 6th article is for the 4th chapter in the 3rd cycle of Pirkei Avot, for those who study it on Shabbat afternoons throughout the summer.
