A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
Among the many important verses in this week's Torah Reading are the designation of special grains and fruits (article #7)
and the instruction to bless G‑d after we have eaten — the only blessing specified in the entire Torah! (article #6) It concludes with the verses of the second paragraph of our most basic prayer, Shema Yisrael which also contains the commandments of Tefilin and Mezuzah (see article #2) and the instruction to train our children in the life-path of Torah (article #3). |
