Welcome to our special Purim edition.
In addition to being so much fun, PURIM is also quite fascinating. The last six articles all examine some of the many striking points of interest. Also, article #3 is a readable, remarkable extract from the Zohar, while #2 connects in a fascinating manner the weekly Torah reading with the Purim holiday.
This year the festival falls on Saturday night-Sunday (unless you live in Jerusalem),
so because the day preceding the holiday this year falls on Shabbat, the Fast of Esther is advanced to this Thursday.
And since it is the Shabbat before Purim, we append to the Weekly Reading, an extra section, called Zachor ("Remember!" - see article #6).
