A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
a) The
Passover Festival begins on Shabbat evening, April 22, with "the Seder" (see
articles #1-4)
and ends after the Shabbat of the following week.
b) The 7th day of Pesach is also a full-fledged Torah holiday celebrating the miracle of the Splitting of the Sea and our crossing on dry land (see articles #6-8). c) The 6th and 8th articles also contain teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, in honor of the 114th anniversary of his birthday on Nissan 11 (20:16: April 19). d) From the 2nd night of Pesach through the night before Shavuot we "Count the Omer" - see article #5 (plus more in the weeks to come). e) The 8th article, on the theme of Moshiach and redemption, is based on the haftorah reading of the Eighth Day of Pesach, celebrated only outside of Israel. f) We held over the Annual Tree blessing from last week on the home page — a nice family activity during the weekdays of the festival if you haven't recited it yet. Dedication
a kosher, enjoyable, liberating, inspiring Pesach holiday and festival week. |
