A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
The Shabbat before the Passover Seder is known as "The Great Shabbat" ("Shabbat HaGadol" in Hebrew) — see the 1st (straight from the Warsaw ghetto!) 2nd and 7th articles.
The 3rd article, on the once-a-year blessing over budding/blossoming fruit trees, really should have been printed last week—Sorry!--but there is still plenty of time. (This can be a nice family activity during the weekdays of the festival, if you haven't recited it yet). Next week: special PASSOVER issue. Dedication
In honor of the 186th yahrzeit of the beloved Chasidic Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua of Apt,
author of this week's 4th article and 'hero' of this week's amazing story and the 75th birthday of a dear friend, R. Meir-Pinchas Rhodes, may he live healthily and happily until at least 120 Both occasions fall this Wednesday, the 5th of the Jewish month of Nissan. |
