A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
An exciting weekend. The Shabbat of Parashat Beshalach
is also known as the "Shabbat of Song" (see article #3)
Erev Shabbat (Thurs. night - Fri.) is Yud Shevat, the yahrzeit of both Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Shneersohn, the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe (see article #2 for a chapter of his death-day teachings) and Rabbi Shalom Sharabi ("Reshash" - see article #1), the great Yemenite 18th century Kabbalist, whose "Siddur/prayerbook with Kavanot/mystical intentions" is still influential today. Articles 4-5 offer more reader-friendly than usual insights from the Zohar and from the Holy Ari of Tzefat A kabbalistic analysis of an important American cultural event that will take place the day after Shabbat is featured in Article #6. Last, but most definitely not least is a great story and then a special bonus 8th article about one of the greatest women in Jewish history. Next week: special Tu B'Shevat edition. ATTENTION!: two ebooks for next week Tree of Life for Tu B'Shevat and Shabbat Meal Meditations for the Ten Commandments. See them on Kabbala Online-Shop.com now and begin gleaning the mystical aspects of Tu B'Shevat! (Offers valid only until February 10, 2015) Dedication
In memory of the tzadikim mentioned above in the preface.
