A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
This week includes two days of Rosh Chodesh, and our 4th article offers some deep insights about this semi-holiday.
The first of those two days, 30 Nissan (Wednesday, April 30), is the yahrzeit of one of the most important Kabbalists of the modern era, Rabbi Chayim Vital (see first 3 articles), the only one permitted to record in writing the teachings of the Holy Ari of Safed (Rabbi Yitchak Luria). The new month, Iyar, is unique in that it features a special mitzvah blessing every single day. The source of this mitzvah is from this week's Torah reading - for mystical insights, see article #5 Amazing Chassidic stories - Discount extended: only $20 now through May 15, 2014 [Click here to see the full Table of Contents. Fully indexed with biographical information, as well as verses, names, dates and topics.] and "2nd Chance" prayers at Rabbi Yehuda bar Ilai's gravesite, now being offered by Kabbala Online Shop. [All prayers must be received by May 12, 2014.] Dedication
In honor of the yahrzeit of Rabbi Chaim Vital, (see Preface above);
And the birthdate on Friday, 2 Iyar - Tiferet sh'b'Tiferet - of the "Rebbe Maharash" (see the last article/story). And also in memory of Feiga bat Yerachmiel ("Aunt Frances" Hirsch), whose yahrzeit falls also on 2 Iyar. |
