A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
This is the first full week of the merry month of ADAR, in which we are commanded to increase in joy every day, no doubt because it contains the ultimate fun holiday of Purim. (Next week: special PURIM issue!)
Our second article is the opening section for a brand-new translation of the Zohar, with vast commentary. The first volume, all of Genesis, is now available as an e-book at our online store, kabbalaonline-shop.com. The name of this week's reading, "Teruma," refers to the donations of materials for building the Sanctuary. Today the word is used, like "tzedaka," to refer to all giving to worthy Jewish causes. Articles 4-6 offer some of our mystical insights into this mitzva. |
