A note from the staff of Kabbalah Online in Tzefat
For the last five weeks, Israel and the Diaspora have been out of sync, with different weekly readings, due to the differing lengths of the respective Passover celebrations.
This week we are all reading Behukotai, whether singly or combined with Behar. Therefore we will celebrate by including in this edition of the magazine more insights for the Weekly Reading than usual. (last 4 articles) Behukotai is also an annual signal that the anniversary of "Torah at Sinai" day is on the horizon. Next week already will be our special Shavuot issue. (Viewers outside of Israel should click to Behar for articles on the Weekly Reading there.) Dedication
for the soul elevation of Rabbi BARUCH-AKIVA (ben Moshe) GREENBERG, Ascent's very first "summer scholar in residence," original Saturday night storyteller, and THE master of Chasidic melody, who just passed away on Shabbat, 20 Iyar 5772 |
