This Shabbat, in synagogue, we will hear the reading of:
(1) the weekly Torah Portion of Vayakel, (2) the weekly Torah Portion of Pekudei, (3) the special supplementary reading of HaChodesh, and (4) the blessings for the New Moon of Nissan and (5) the rare blessing "Hazak!" for completing publicly one of the Five Books of Moses. The first two articles are for the special HaChodesh reading, while the last two articles are for the "double parsha." |
